General Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") of BabyNanny s.r.o. are binding for every client utilizing the services of the provider of daily childcare.

1. Business Object and Service Provision 

BabyNanny s.r.o. offers services of daily childcare in Bratislava. The provider commits to providing these services in accordance with the legal regulations and best professional knowledge.

2. Ordering of Services 

Clients can place orders for BabyNanny s.r.o. services via phone, SMS, email, or by using the order form on the company's website. When placing an order, it is necessary to provide the child's name and age, date, and time when the childcare will be required, as well as the location where the childcare will be provided. We kindly request to adhere to the scheduled time. The caregiver is reserved for the client during the specified time, and it is not possible to charge for less time than ordered.

3. Prices and Payments 

The price for providing daily childcare services is determined based on the number of hours, the number of children, and the location of the service provision. The price is stated on BabyNanny s.r.o.'s website and may change without prior notice.

Clients who are currently under contract will be notified in advance of any changes to the price list and will have 30 days to express their opinion on the new price list. If they do not respond, the new prices will apply after this period expires.

Payment for the provided daily childcare service will be invoiced and is due within 14 days from the date of issuing the invoice. The account number will be specified on the invoice. In case of late payment, a monthly interest rate of 0.05% of the outstanding amount will be charged for each day of delay. In the event of an unjustified claim, legal claims for damages will be applied. Payment can be made via bank transfer or in cash directly at the place of service provision.

4. Liability 

BabyNanny s.r.o. shall not be liable for any damages caused to the child due to negligence or neglect on the part of the parents or legal representatives. The liability for damages is always individual and depends on specific circumstances. BabyNanny s.r.o. endeavors to provide the highest quality of services and childcare. Therefore, in case of any damage to the client's property due to our negligence or error, BabyNanny s.r.o. assumes responsibility for such damage. In the event of unintentional damage to the client's property, immediate notification and subsequent handling of the matter are requested. In case of any disputes regarding liability for damages, they will be resolved in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

4.1 General Liability Insurance 

BabyNanny s.r.o. is covered by general liability insurance, which covers accidental damages that may occur in connection with the provision of our daily childcare services. This insurance aims to protect our clients and their property in case of unintentional damages or injuries that may arise during the caregiver's presence in their household.

5. Cancellation of Orders 

The client can cancel the service order no later than 24 hours before the scheduled service time. If the client cancels the order less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, BabyNanny s.r.o. reserves the right to charge a fee equivalent to 50% of the service provision cost.

Charging a fee for late service cancellation: Minimum fee - 3 hours or 50% of the price according to the number of ordered hours, considering the option that is more suitable or corresponds to a greater number of lost hours.

6. Personal Data Protection 

BabyNanny s.r.o. is committed to protecting clients' personal data and processing it in accordance with legal regulations. Clients have the right to request the deletion of their personal data from BabyNanny s.r.o.'s database at any time.

7. Regular Care 

7.1 Definition of Regular Care 

Regular care means that the caregiver is scheduled for a specific day and time in repeating cycles. This type of care allows the client to have a consistently assigned caregiver, minimizing the need for finding replacements. The price for regular care is more advantageous compared to sporadic service orders.

7.2 Exceptions 

7.2.1 Illness 

In the event that the caregiver or the child to be cared for is affected by an illness and cannot attend the regular care, the client is obligated to inform BabyNanny s.r.o. about this circumstance as soon as possible. The company will then make efforts to provide a substitute caregiver or find another suitable solution.

7.2.2 Vacation 

In case of planned vacation of the caregiver or the client utilizing BabyNanny's services, it is necessary to inform the company with sufficient advance notice. BabyNanny s.r.o. endeavors to agree in advance on an alternative care schedule after the return from vacation.

7.2.3 Mutual Agreement 

In the event that the client and BabyNanny s.r.o. mutually agree on changes to regular care, such agreements must be documented in writing and approved by both parties.

7.3 Changes to Regular Care 

If the client wishes to modify the scope or schedule of regular care, it is necessary to discuss these changes with BabyNanny s.r.o. and agree on new conditions.

7.4 Termination of Regular Care 

The client has the right to terminate regular care at any time but is required to inform BabyNanny s.r.o. in advance and with sufficient notice so that the company can adequately respond and potentially find a new client interested in regular care during the available time.

We also offer the option of a one-time caregiver search.

We provide mediation of caregiver services according to the individual requirements of the family and the needs of the child. Our goal is to accommodate specifications such as the required time and qualifications of the caregiver. Our price is variable and depends on the time demand and expertise of the provided service. The mediation price list is determined based on the caregiver's education and working hours. The price range varies from 300 to 800 euros, with the specific amount depending on the level of education and the type of need – full-time or part-time. The caregiver's professional education and experience will be taken into account when determining the final price.

Enhanced recommendation and connection service: From 200 to 400 EUR The total prices are determined based on the complexity and scope of the provided services.

Regarding language translations, in the event of any legal discrepancies or inaccuracies in the translation, only the Slovak version of the document shall be accepted and recognized. BabyNanny s.r.o. does not take responsibility for any language errors in the translation, and the client agrees to consider only the Slovak version of the General Terms and Conditions (GTC). Translations are provided for informational purposes and for easier comprehension of the GTC content for clients who may not speak or understand Slovak.

In case of any ambiguities or differences between the Slovak version of the GTC and its translations into other languages, the Slovak version shall prevail and be considered valid and binding. The client agrees that any questions or doubts concerning the GTC content will be directed to BabyNanny s.r.o. for the purpose of obtaining explanations and clarifications.

We would like to emphasize that the General Terms and Conditions of BabyNanny s.r.o. are binding, and by accepting them, clients agree to their validity and compliance. Before receiving any services or fulfilling contractual obligations, clients shall thoroughly review the GTC and accept its conditions. In case of disagreement with the GTC, clients are not authorized to use the services of BabyNanny s.r.o. and should refrain from doing so.
